Will the Supreme Court of the United States decide once and for all, if Christians should not be allowed to profess and practice their faith?
I for one cannot and will not stop Loving others, nor telling others that I Love them and Jesus does too.. :)
With Love..In Christ.. :)

Why wouldn't it be when all those things happened to Jesus? I say let supreme court do whatever it wants. No laws of man will ever stop my faith, my worshiping God or my relationship with Him. You can tape my mouth shut, glue my hands and feet together. So I can't sing His praises, clap my hands and stomp my feet. But in my heart and soul I will still be serving God and singing His praises. Man makes decesions without realizing God has the last say. Look at all the countries that don't allow citizens to own bibles. Still the people of those countries serve God. Many things are happening and will continue to happen as we prepare for His return. But no one can take from us what God has given us. Our salvation and a relationship with Him through His son Jesus Christ. I will pray for the sumpreme court because though they are making a decesion that they might think is nothing. They will all stand before God come judgment day. Forgive them God for they know not what they do. May God continue to be with all His children, believers and non believers.

Read some of the comments attached to this article for examples of REAL persecution:
http://newsweek.washingtonpost.com/onfaith/starhawk/2007/03/discrimination_against_pagans.html
Unlike Wiccans, Christians can generally worship as they please, wear the signs of their faith openly, and are NOT in danger of having their children taken away or losing their jobs -- or worse -- if their religion is "found out".
From one of the comments linked above:
"Not far from where I live there's a small town called Rock Hill, SC. If you're Wiccan, or fall anywhere under the umbrella of Neo Pagan you've possibly heard of it.
A young High Priestess, Darla Wynne lives there, and because she spoke, her cat was hanged, her parrot recently decapitated, she's received death threats, the list, unfortunately doesn't stop. The really sad part is that the local authorities brush her case to the side. She's offered little to no protection. There's been very little criminal investigation into the harassment that has plagued this young woman."
Or how about the VA's refusal to approve the pentacle on the gravestone of a fallen Wiccan soldier, when symbols for many other faiths, some with equally few adherents, are represented?

Now compare that to "OMGyouwon'tbelieveinJESUS!" or "OMGyouwon'tletusmakeour religiousbeliefsintoLAW!", and you'll see why non-Christians tend to get a bit testy when Christians play the "persecution" card.

I sure hope so. Their faith is a death cult intent upon global conquest. Many of them pray for the end of the world, an act I cannot describe in any other way except for Evil. They relentlessly push their beliefs onto anyone with a different faith in their struggle to conquer the planet before Islam does. Their reliance upon dogmatic doctrine dissuades any of them from exploring their own human spirit, telling them to instead simply obey and follow the crowd, like a brainwashed cult. Their lord and savior was a celibate executed man. A Hanged God, a Lord of the Gallows. Those are bad enough, but throw in the fact that he was celibate and you have a being who is the very symbol of Death. The Christians have been deceived into joining this evil cult and decent, free thinking people need to do what we can to stop them from tearing down the American democracy and creating an oppressive theocracy in it's place. I know that you're too close to be able to see it, but your faith is an evil death cult intent upon global conquest by any means neccessary. Hoping for the Endtimes, cosntantly trying to convert everyone you can, the nature of the gods you pray to, your attitudes about any other spiritual path, why can't you see it?

There is not a case going before the supreme court where the ruling could possibly not allow christians to profess and practice their faith.
Where you got that information is beyond me. For one, you could state the name of the supposed case.

It may not be constitutional, but it is what Jesus told us would happen to us.
We can be expected to be persecuted. Christians in the rest of the world are dying for their faith. The Supreme Court of the US has no authority to stop you from defending, praticing and professing your faith. All they can do is outlaw it.
Being a non-American, they have no ability to even address what I can do in my nation.
Keep doing it.

The Supreme Court can never do this. Religion is powerful to the human mind. I am not Christian - but I do know a thing or two about faith. Just like I can never be silenced for being a Wiccan, you will never be silenced for being a Christian.

do you know who fundamental christians are beginning to sound like, the ulster loyalists and the apartheid era white south africans. i know as i've dealt with both of them. the rage and the hurt indignation in their voices echos in the statements i'm reading here. even though they had the whip hand, they controlled the security forces, they tortured, imprisoned, beat , maimed and corrupted the political system all because they thought they were the persecuted minority. watch the old newsreels of the reverend ian paisley justifying the loyalist mobs burning out the homes in the bogside and the falls, as he explains how the rights of him and his fellow loyalists would be trampled underfoot if they conceded the right of one man one vote. and you will hear the same speeches and claims by the afikaaners. your voice sounds so much like them it scares me. i have been there and seen it. you may profess to love others but i expect there are many who perceive the world in the same way as you do but where you feel love they only feel self-righteous malice and hatred. if you allow religion or race to polarise your nation, then you are damning it to a ruinous inferno.believe me i'm speaking from experience.

There is nothing wrong with practicing your religion. It shouldn't be a problem unless someone is literally harassing someone who doesn't have the same beliefs, or for that matter someone who doesn't want to hear about it even if they hold the same beliefs. I don't mean putting up decorations or saying Merry Christmas or anything like that, I mean bombarding them with talk about it after they have asked you to stop or trying to convert them when they have not asked you questions about converting. It isn't illegal, but it does get annoying.

It's a shame to know that most of the courts are corrupted in some ways. And don't care if innocent people go to jail and are stuck in theses over filled jail cells, and other types of programs that don't work cause it's designed to keep them due to their greed. It's easier for a judge to keep an innocent men in jail to ensure the judge is protected of making an mistake.
No one can stop me from practicing what I believe is to be the truth, I would be glad to die for what I know to be the truth, especially knowing God stands by my side in them hard times. I'll die expressing the way I feel... my faith:)
Rome couldn't keep the Christian from speaking...... This perhaps is the key.... this is where Jesus steps in, sooner than people think.
~Peace~
