u have to do this when u set up the header. first go to insert: header. chose the kinda header that u want. this is the most important part. when ur putting in ur "design" or words for ur header, ull notice at the top "bar" of word u should see header and footer tools. its a temporary tab that allows you to set up ur header. if u look in options u should see three boxes you can check. the r different first page, different odd and even pages, and show document text. Show document text should already be checked by defalt. Leave it checked, but also check the first one which reads different first page. this should work, because it did for me. As for changing it on a premade document, ur on ur own. i hope this helped and good luck!

When you're finished with the document, save it as a html file, that will make it look like a web-page....no page spaces etc:

Remember that if you're going to send the finished document to someone else, you'll need to save it as a Word 93-2003 document...Office 2007 saves them in it's new docx format....and older office users cannot open them.

I don't think you can. The heading tool is for THE ENTIRE DOCUMENT as far as I know. What you can do (as long as you aren't using columns) is just do the first line on the first page like you would do the heading.
