This guy is the most popular guy and im not that popular, i sit next to him in class and we talk and laugh but he is labeled a player and tends to date popular girls. I know this is a fat chance but how do i get him to like me??

Whom you like and do not like is mostly up to Nature! Then too, because YOU also have a FREE WILL, you can try to chose to like or dislike!
Besides, the description that you have given about this young male, does not say anything positive about him!

It sounds like he already likes you as a friend. You say he laughs and talks with you in class. Just build on that. Maybe, one day when you're talking to him throw out, hypothetically of course, How would he feel about going out with you one time to a movie or something, and then say you were just curious. That cuts you some slack and you're not really telling him you're interested.

This worked for my current boyfriend i have. I told hi jokes and laughed and talked about my feelings and stuff, and one day, i wanted to tell him my feelings so i wrote him a note, and i still have it, this is what it said:

First ask yourself this, "Is he right for me" . I dont want to sound motherly cuz I'm a teen, but you need to look deep into your heart and see if he's right for you. Ask yourself what you want your perfect guy to be like and if this "playa" has most or all of those qualities then you should try to get him.
If he is right for you, you need to figure out all the things he likes in a girl; what he wants her to look like, how he wants her to act, and how he wants them to dress. etc.( and on and on).
Next you need to change yourself for him if you REALLY like him. Dont change yourself for a guy you dont love or really like.

make an effort for him to get to notice you... talk to him every once in a while, smile, flirt, and say "hi" whenever you have the opportunity. Chances are, he'll notice you pretty fast.

number one if your not popular dont try to go out with someone who is i dont mean to bring you down but those type of relationships always seem to crash and burn i see it alot at my school so if you dont want your feelings hurt try not to get invovled with this guy.

and if u talk to him and he doesnt really care. he probably doesnt think ur cool or fun to talk to.
ask him who he likes, and what he looks for in a girl
