The closest I can see is this; In Romans 1 the bible establishes that everyone knows there is a God. Essentially they only have to look outside their window to know that there is a God.

"For the truth about God is known to them instinctively. God has put this knowledge in their hearts. From the time the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky and all that God made. They can clearly see his invisible qualities–his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse whatsoever for not knowing God."

So that establishes clearly that everyone has an idea that there is a God. Even if they are born deep inside the Amazon jungle and have never heard of Jesus, they know there is a God. As for everyone "hearing the word of God" its not in the Bible.

Hope that helps!

The Bible does say that in the tribulation time right before Jesus comes back again, there will be 144 thousands evangelists preaching the word of God and there will be an angel going all over the world warning people not to take the mark of the beast, because if they do they will be forever lost. So God's mercy still goes out to the world during those days to all people left on the earth, warning them and drawing those who never heard the truth. This is the only time that I can remember that the Bible tells about the Gospel going out to all the world. But of course not everyone will accept the truth just like many don't accept the truth today.

As one of Jehovahs Witnesses I am very familiar with the scripture found at Matt.24:14.Which states:"This good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth, for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come."
This is our prime concern. Not only do we preach to others in obedience to Christ's command found at Matt.28:19,20,but we also do it out of concern, knowing that we are living very deep in the last days. And people need an opportunity to hear the truth of God's Holy Word.Because they certainly are not going to hear it from their pastors and priests!.
So when Jehovah's appointed time arrives, the end will come.We will not and can not reach every single person. But Jehovah takes all this into account. He is a righteous God and will not destroy honest hearted ones because they were not given an opportunity to take Jehovahs side against Satan.

Matthew 24:14 says...
" And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come."

That has already happened...the end of this system of things is near.

Kelsey,
Latinrose and Wannaknow both have the correct answer. I really like the Biblegateway site. It is a great help in finding information like that. If you get an opportunity, check it out at http://www.biblegateway.com/. Have a great Lord's Day.

A couple of you have it right. I found out that 30% of the world population today has not heard the gospel.
