Reheated food has to reach a certain temperature in order to keep organisms from growing.......Use the microwave or a pan on the stovetop......

According to the FDA, food has to be reheated to 165f as "quickly as possible" in order to kill bacteria and or viruses. Letting your crock "rest" to room temperature and then reheating on low is dangerous.

Its a slow cooker and you dont want it to take a long time to reheat plus I thing the longer it takes to reheat the more Bactria will form.

you can, i do it all the time if you keep the inside container in the refrigerate just let it come to room temp then reheat it at low

If you take it from the refrigerator and heat it up rapidly it will crack, vice versa, if you take it from hot and put it in cold water it will crack.

It may not get hot enough to kill bacteria and you wouldn't notice.
