Can anybody tell me good websites where i can find alot of information and statistics about this topic?

Just google "childhood obesity" and you'd find lots of websites with information (prevention, remedies, etc.) and statistics (age groups, demographics, etc.) about the subject. What you won't find anywhere is an explanation on the relationship between technology and obesity. That you have to do on your own.

Hint: exciting food commercials; unsupervised play time;
unlimited play time; reliance on fast foods or microwavables, etc., etc.

eric.ed.gov would talk about education and trends in school age children
