Does organic brain damage cause mental illness like Bipolar Disorder and Schizophrenia?

i have heard of it causing schizophrenia....but i have not done a lot of research into bipolar.....

the reason i look at the causes of schizophrenia is because i have schizoaffective disorder.. and i did have a bad fall on my head when i was about 10.....

Yes ofcourse among many other disorders it can cause, like for instance acute anxiety disorder. It happened to me because the the drugs i did:(
