I'm 28 and lately I've been having back pain only in the morning. I'll have it from the first time I wake up in the morning around 5am until about 1 hour after I get up. I usually get up at 8am and the pain is gone by 9am.

I have had the same bed for over a year and the pain has only been in the last 2 weeks. I have a $3500 Temperpedic (the original memory mattress(, not a cheap knock off).

I've been perfectly health, never any health issues or back issues. Haven't been in any accidents

I have dealt with chronic back pain for years due to the work I do and several accidents I have encountered!
I can tell you that the "new style" chiropractor can do wonders for you and doesn't use the old techniques associated with snap, crackle, popping you into place! The new style uses a small device that the chiropractor holds and makes a little snapping sound that supposedly stimulates the nerves or something. My wife had it and she is a changed woman! I have been considering it myself against my medical doctors advice. The chiropractor told me the medical doctors do not have the understanding regarding chiropractoring and therefore just inform patients it isn't a good choice! My wife's chiropractor told me he guarantees he can help me! I might just give it a try as nothing to date medically has done the job!

Maybe it's the way you sleep? Try lying on your back and put a pillow under your knees. Or lie on your side with a pillow between your knees. It will take the pressure off your lower back. I've done it many times and I have a REAL sleep number bed. They work.

What part of your back? It sounds like you may of pulled, twisted or strained something and when you sleep it aggravates it because you are not moving. Try a pillow that compliments the mattress and helps your neck. Try stretching exercises before bed and when you get up.

I'm going to say it could have a lot to do with your kidneys. If the pain is only for an hour after you get up. I have that same thing and its my kidneys. Hope you feel better soon.

You could have twisted it or strained it without realizing it. Maybe a trip to the doc for some X-rays or an MRI could pinpoint what is going on.
