As long as it's nice and sunny, it doesn't matter the temperature for tanning. And it's true that soaking up some sun is a safer tan than a tanning bed anyway. Just don't go getting too cold out in your bathing suit in 50 degree weather! lol

You sure can tan (or burn!) as long as you get some sun. You can even tan on overcast days but you will need to be out all of the day. However taking your clothes off when it is 50 degrees is too cold which is why most people don't tan.

You can tan in any type of weather, if there's a sun around! I got a tan once when it was 60 degrees out. ;]

Sure.. ambient temp has nothing to do with UV raditaion levels.. but why would you want to... a healthy tan is the first sign of skin cancer... (old saying.. and a true one.. ask any doc)
