Sounds like a small ulcer to me - painful though. Try putting salt directly on it - will sting like hell but should sort it out quickly. I always believed that these happened if you told fibs - that's what my Irish Granny told me so it must be true! Tell the truth in future & you won't get any more!! But try the salt treatment in the meantime.

Most probably an ulcer, which after a few days should go. If it doesn't then it should be checked by your dentist.
It could also be something more serious, although this is highly unlikely you need to keep a close eye on it and if it does not clear up with in a week seek the advice of your doctor or dentist.
A good idea for keeping the area clean is doing a warm salty water rinse (so it tastes like tears) it doesn't taste great, but keeps things really clean.

if you mean one little point-like thing that is white looking & sticking up more than the rest of your tonge, it is an inflamed taste bud; i get these all the time: annoying. if it is something larger than that & round, like a wound, you could have a canker sore or it could be a sexually transmitted disease if you are having any contact like that. you can try things like OraJel to numb it (generic brands work fine), just make sure you do not swallow it or use it a lot underneath your tongue.

mouth sore or ulcer, nothing major but they do hurt quite a bit! try some antibacterial mouth wash or rinse with warm salty water.

You probably bit it and it's just an inflammed taste bud. If it doesn't go away in about a week, I'd see your dentist.
