Head to Head - 3's go all in to the K-J. 3's is a very aggressive bettor so I believe K-J suited in a head to head has to go in. What are the odds on K-J suited vs the 3's before the flop?

You can check the odds using the link below.

In a heads up pot pre-flop the odds are:

KJo (47.71%) vs. 33 (51.59%)

or

KJs (50.73%) vs. 33 (48.53%)

In both cases the numbers don't add up to 100 because there is a slim chance of a tie.

Either way it's basically a coin flip. With either hand I'd rather be the all in bettor than the caller. That way you have the added chance that the opponent folds, which is an extra way you can win.

Before the flop. The odds of winning are 50/50. If he has pockets, he wins unless a King or a Jack land on the table, ont the other hand, if there is a pair on the table, pocket 3s win. Depending on how many players there are, the odds variate, supposing that there are only 2 players

4 cards are in play, 3 will be burned and 5 will be turned.

52 - 7 = 45. 5 will be turned, you need 3 to get a flush. 1/27 chances of getting a royal flush

You have 6 possibilities out of 45 getting either a jack or king. 2 out of 45 of getting a 3...

The odds of King Jack winning are bigger, but Pocket 3s is winning already.

there are 2/3 more chances of getting a king or jack than to get 2 3s.

But as I said, whatever pair on the table there is pocket 3s takes it.

K-j is not a strong hand in any situation, you are too often dominated by better hands or you are in a coin-flip for most of your stack. K-J is not a hand that you want to be calling all In's against. I like to play that hand only for a call, or in position, but i would never call an all in with it unless the other player was very loose and his chips were very short, otherwise i dump it.

a lower pocket pair against any 2 over cards is almost 50/50. The pocket pair has a slight advantage, but it's something like 51% to 49%. Coin toss is what it is....

In my experience, the K-J all the way... Pockets pairs, unless they are high ones, do absolutly nothing for me.
