I usually make the plans for my boyfriend and I. He came up with an idea of something to do this weekend and we were both excited about it. Then he told me on Thursday that he was going to take his daughter instead. I found it odd, because it was something I would hate to do as a teenager. Why would he take her instead of me? And is it odd that he would want to do the same things with her and me?

Since we don't know what it is, it's hard to say. But it's HIS DAUGHTER!!! You don't seriously begrudge any time he spends with her do you?? And just b/c it's not something YOU wanted to do as a teenager doesn't mean it's something SHE wouldn't want to do. She's not you so don't put your interests on her.

And maybe she's feeling jealous of all the time her dad spends with you so he felt he needed some special time with her. No, it's not odd that he wants to do the same things with her as with you unless it's sex, inappropriate touching or kissing!

My dad has a girlfrieind and i am a teenager. My dad spends more time with her then me. Sometimes I like it when He and I just do stuff together. I do think its rude that he told you he was going to do it with you and then change his plans and say you arent going my daughter is. My dad's girlfriend has his voice and whatever she says goes i never have a say in anything. Maybe you can try hanging out with the daughter just you and her and maybe she will want you to come to more events with them. I hope i Helped cus i wud want my dad to read this or his gf

He is probably lieing and taking the daughter and the mother. But if he is not lieing let him and his daughter spend some quality time alone.
