Well thats a 5 year difference and she is now a legal adult so it is perfectly fine. And A heart made a good point maturity is a big thing around that time period.

I am going to echo what most people have said. It is legal. It is actually VERY close in age, especially if you consider that women emotionally mature a few years faster than men. If you are still dating 18 year olds when you are middle aged then you might get a different response, but for now I would say that is perfectly fine.

Sometimes I just wonder how two people at such different stages in their lives could form a relationship; you are an adult, she is still a teenager who's not even of the legal age to drink.
If you really want to give it a shot and the age doesn't play a problem, than go for it. You're not THAT much older than her.

If you get along with him, I see no reason why not. Sometimes girls just get along better with older guys. I seem to be a good example of this, at 18, I've dated guys as old as 25.

Go for it. I think its just fine. My boyfriend just turned 23 and I juts turned 18. We've been going out for 2 1/2 years now and it has been wonderful. Give it a shot. Good Luck! I bet it will all work out just fine!

Boy stop! Date her! Why not? 5 years is not bad as long as they are legal. My mother got remarried to a man 15 years younger than her and they are happily married! HAPPILY! So I say to you take a chance, love has no age, no face, no color and time!

Live it up! But don't get mad when she acts immature and calls 10 times a minute when you are off to a club for 21+years ONLY. I think that would be the only problem.

um why not, shes of age. love doesnt know an age. im 24 and my man is 48. and we are so compatable and get along so well. im really happy. people question the age difference then they meet him and they understand why im attracted. so dont worry about age difference. if u like her, why question it.

That isnt much of an age difference, if you were 30, then that would be a different story.

That age difference is not totally shocking....the main thing will be the fact that they can't do the same things since the 18 yr. old can't go out to bars, etc..... and I doubt it will last.
