Try Red-Cross or FEMA.

Neither the Red Cross nor FEMA deals with this sort of situation however both National Runaway Switchboard www.1800runaway.org and Covenant House www.covenanthouse.org do in the US and you may be able to get some info on similar organizations through their email if you are in another country. Both deal with situations where a person needs to leave their parent's home as well as with run away situations. Both have some ability to help a teen or young adult find a place to stay. Both will keep your contact confidential. Salvation Army also has emergency selters but you normally have to be over 18 or 21. If you are their website is www.salvationarmy.org

Start calling churches, they are your best bet for shelters.

A lot of older churches own rental property. People give it to the church or leave it to the church in wills. Sometimes the church keeps it and rents it out and sometimes the church sells it.

A lot of churches are affiliated with homeless shelters and programs so they can refer you to something if they don't have anything.

try your local council, they may or maynot be able to help....but usualy have addresses and contact numbers of people who could....including local landlords.

also try housing associations.....not quite emergency housing but a thought for the future.

All the best
