Its not healthy to eat like that for too long but its a great way to lose weight. High protein will help you drop weight quickly but once you start eating normal again you will start putting it back on and possible gain more than you started with. I do it as a crash diet, easy to take off 10 pounds in less than 2 weeks but much longer you will know it. You will start losing energy and too long your hair can fall out! Check out the atkins diet its almost the same thing!

I would think that this diet wouldn't be to good for you. Beef jerky has a lot of preservative and sodium in it.

Yes the body needs other nutrients as in vitamins and carbohydrates and minerals.it is not good.
