many people dislike and are mean toward girls (like the ones in high school) who were the head covering. i know a few people who do? do u dislike this? why? or do u approve of it? just wondering

I think that the head scarves are great, I personally have never been committed enough to a religion to do anything like that. I think that it's a sign of strength, even under the people that are haters they wear them.

I think it shows modesty, and i love them. it gets kinda difficult in the summers when its like 100 degrees outside but i still wear it. i mean its respectful to all religons and peoples. it doesnt insult anyone and Mary mother of Jesus wore one so i hope it shouldnt be disliked. i havent had trouble with it or people being rude just weird looks but i give people weird looks too lol. everyone can wear what they please, just like gothic people have choke chains to the floor wearing all black with face paint and spikes everywhere, or other religons such as sikhs that wear turbans, jews that wear yamakas (i donno if thats how u spell it sry), and pakistani women that wear traditional dress. I approve of anything that doesn't insult or offend anybody. sO the head scarves or (Hijab) doesn't bother me.

I don't mind the head scarves which show the face - I think they're sweet.
I'm not fond of the face veils etc as they make the wearer look sinister but that's just my opinion. It doesn't mean they are, of course.

im a muslim girl in high school and wear a head scarf(also know as hijab in arabic) i've been wearing one since i was small. it's like apart of me and i was never forced to wear it like some think. i choose to wear it. i was in fourth grade and even if i wasnt wearing one today my parents can not, would not force me though im sure they might advice me and try to convince me but definetly not force or punish. thank God i wear a hijab and i love it.
