I lived there for 6 months last year and I have to tell you I liked it very much, and you should not worry, everything will work out fine, wish you good luck and enjoy!! But remember it's cold on winter

many people in beijing speak english. it is somewhat westernized but also very traditional. you will like it there, i did. many things to see and experience. just remember, it's cold in winter but the rest of the year is very comfortable.

peace , that's an interesting word, beijing appears peaceful , but, maybe it's my bias , this city has too many bloody events , i always feel something will happen , something revolution or military coup d'etat , just my feeling
