I'm sorry you're going thru this hun, but please know that not all of us are prejudice. I don't understand why people are like that and seem to have no problem hurting other people, I wish I did. We all have hearts, we all have feelings, we all have dreams, and we all have to live one day at a time. I wish I could hug you and tell you that this too shall pass, and to be strong. I will not pretend to know what it's like to be treated this way, I can only say that I am sorry that this is happening to you. You will find someone to love and to love you back sweety, I know you will. To answer your question, there is nothing wrong with black people, the problem lies with the ones who are closed minded and ignorant. Be strong, and most importantly, be happy. Don't let anyone take your happiness or your self confidence.

Sadly, I think the media portrayal of blacks have a lot to do with it. I mean rapping about money and hoes, blacks somehow always obtaining gangster roles in movies, ect, ect. It's a problem with sheltering and not direct interaction with blacks and people from other races. When you don't know something, you try to understand it through indirect means and that is not the best or most accurate method. I'm sorry that racism still exists and I'm sorry that human beings are incapable of unconditional love. Just be strong, believe in yourself, and know that God made us all different for a reason. No matter what color, religion, or race we are, in the end, we're all bonded and connected by the same thing. Good luck! :-)

All races have their faults, and for people of one race to judge people of other races is nothing but a shame and a lot of nerve. If these guys are breaking up with you because of the color of your skin - then they are not even worth your time honey!! But don't fret-- I am a black young lady who is dating a white young man for three years now-- we are highschool sweet hearts and if it's God's will- we would love to get married once we are out of college and fiancially set-- There's someone out there for you-- and the person out there doesn't give a damn as to what your ethnic background is!!

LOOK, First of all, not just SOME white people are prejudiced, SOME black people are also prejudiced.
, that is, sadly, the facts of life. So, u just have to hang in there and keep trying. By the way there is nothing wrong with with black people, especially the chicks, they are DYNOMITE. OH, I am white but there should be no colors, everyone are just people. we are all the same to GOD.

Oh I feel very sorry for you. There are alot of racist people out there and I am not so sure how to change them but hope that one day they see the light and judge you for you and open up their minds and hearts. You will find the proper boyfriend who has some guts and can stand up for you and for him. Or you will find a boyfriend with open minded educated parents. Do not allow yourself to be dragged down by this. If your boyfriend followed his parents racist views if he couldnt be strong..well hes not worth it. You might as well weed out the weaklings from the strong ones now. Chin up I am sure you are beautiful. There are alot of good loving people who will love you for you and welcome you into their lives. Our family did my brother in law is a wonderful man. A real asset into our lives. So chin up you will find a good one for sure.

I'm a white female grandmother and what I want for my grandson is to fine someone he loves and who will love him back equally. His current girlfriend is of mixed race and she is a sweetheart. Yes, they do get "looks" "comments" from both black and white alike. You will find a young man with strong character. You would not want a weak life partner anyway.

I have heard a lot of families say that they dont want their kids dating black people b/c it would be too hard to get along with each other. b/c the family doesnt try, it makes it harder for the couple.
U will find a guy who has a great family... not all families are hard to get along with.
