just be honest but without hurting him. tell him he is just a good friend and you are sorry you got carried away in your emotions.
its not at all a stupid problem, but don't let it become one by staying with him longer! the longer you wait the harder it'll be for him! Don't be afraid to tell him, because it might be hard for a few days but at least you are being true to him. staying with him to not be a "*****" is actually being one and a liar. so start openning your heart.

I don't think there is a way you can fix this without hurting this other guy's feelings. Just be honest with him and tell him how you really feel. Ignoring him is the biggest ***** move of them all. That is about the best you can do at this point.

Well your in good company about being the complete ******* or human which ever you feel more comfortable with.
Don't continue on with guy number 2 any longer than you have to. It would be much nicer of you if you just told him out straight. You may feel bad leading up to it, but both of you will be able to sleep better at night knowing where you stand.

Hey, I've done this too. It's embarassing and you feel like crap. It happens. Just tell the guy you kissed that you're not ready for anything serious right now. You just got out of a relationship so, it's believable. Tell him he's too nice for you to lead him on and you just wanted to let him know where you stood and you hope he's not offended. He might get mad but, he'll get over it.

the only way out is to tell this guy that you used him and that youre a **** (in no other words).
in the end, you need to ensure that you feel 100x worse than the guy will feel. keeping in mind that hes gonna feel pretty bad due to your sluttyness.
all the other people who responded trying to tell you not to feel bad are idiots. you should feel like the heel of society you are, and ensure that the guy you kissed knows that you know youre worthless for having done what you did.

I would tell him you're not sorry the kiss happened, but you're sorry about the timing.Your emotions got caught up in the moment, and you just aren't ready to be with anyone right now, and you respect him enough to let him know up front before things go anywhere that it just isn't the right time for you to pursue anything.
That way, you don't look like a b*tch, and he gets to save face as well...

I would tell him that you care for him as a friend, but right now you are just coming out of a long relationship and you aren't ready to start anything new/long term. It is SO much better to be honest and hurt his feelings than to lie.

Just tell him that you just got out of a relationship and you need time to figure out what you want.Apologize if you hurt his feelings and if you gave the wrong signals.
That s the truth after all
