I am going to replace my stock infiniti bose cd player with an after market because it broke and the stock is way too expensive. I went into best buy today and they said that since I have a bose system I will have to rewire the entire system which will cost about $150. Do I really need to rewire everything or can i do it myself the system is from a 1995 j30 infiniti.

hell no dont pay for that.. you can do it yourself.. just go to wal mart and look by the car stereo stuff. there will be a wire harness for your car there (maybe if they have the right one) all the wires on that and the aftermarket are the same all you have to do is connect each same color wire together and plug it in. you may also need a dash install kit which is only about 15 or so the wire isnt much either

yeah evrything has to be rewired the bose system wiring speakers and cd player wont work with anything else. just lef them rewire it it's worth the $150 its a total pain in the butt. unless your using amplifiers then its easy.
