I am a Vietnam Vet not much into politics-just wanted to know if he served-cause he sounds hawkish-I kinda guessed he was a Vet--and I got all this Liberal crap...and Rush is such a great guy even though he didn't serve lighten up-you sound guilty.

No of course he didn't, just like no one in the Bush administration served, they were all busy getting deferments, like Cheney!
Leona Helmsly, like people the ilk of Rush and the wealthy, said the truth that they don't like to hear! If they did, they would have to start blaming someone other than the poor, Children and elderly!

All Republicans are hawkish with other peoples kids, then they cut VA hospitals by 100 BILLION and give tax cuts to the rich!
They are only angry because they are ideologues that have never attended a Memorial day parade, much less served!

no he didn't serve...you don't have to serve to be hawkish...also he was a fat kid..and when I tried to go into the Army in 86 they would take me 40 pounds over weight..never joined..the guys in the Army recruiter office seam like ash holes..when I told them I want infantry they told me only idiots go into the infantry ..after that..I lost interest..thanks for serving provide your not a liar..

Rush is a passionate "subject" for Libs. Mainly, they don't like an individual to oppose their opinion and do it as successfully as he did.
I don't listen to Rush often at all. Usually only when my dad sends me a clip of his. He is just too far to the right for me.
But he has the right to say as he wishes on the radio just as the Liberals have been doing for years. Now that there is competition, the Libs don't like it.
What really cranks them is that he usually hits home with them too...I have always said, the far left hates the truth like Vampires hate the Sun.
