Absolutely. My husband helps a Lot. After I had my wreck, he did everything while I was recovering. When I tell him thank you, he says "I live here too". What a great guy.

Not really, but he doesn't live with me so, it's understandable. When I did live with a guy, he hardly ever helped. It got annoying sometimes if he would create a mess for no reason. I'm not sure if helping gives a woman more energy at night. It's more of the reasoning behind the guy helping with chores. It's touching when a guy helps cleaning and it usually makes us want to have the energy later that night. lol

I do not feel more energy when (far and few between) I get help, but you sure don't feel like just a beast of burden. You tend not to resent things when don't you have to constantly do them while somebody sits and watchs. The only time I get help with anything around the house is when he knows that I have had it. I quit cleaning his areas, his nightstand, desk, etc.... once he grosses himself out with mold or some smell.. I just say "hum, maybe that should be taken care of."

My man does do a lot of chores around the house. He goes to work and school and I just sit at home since i lost my job but if something needs to get done he is right there willing and ready. he gets more out of me when he helps it makes me feel like I'm not just his slave!

My hubby helps a lot. I have more energy to bring to our marriage, and our sex-life is great. If I did everything or vice-versa, we wouldn't have energy to keep our marriage "hot". Plus, it's frustrating when someone doesn't pull their own weight and can lead top major resentment.
