okay so theres this guy that ive been going out with for 2 months . lets say his name is josh. he's like the bad boy type, gets bad grades, but is really over protective of me, is sweet, and looks really hot . But the problem is that is is really emo, gets jealous easily, cries over simple things, and keeps saying that he wants to hurt himself.that really kills me, because i dont want to see him hurt. Lately, there's been this other guy , "Alvin". He's friends with "Josh" and he is really nice, good looking, smart, a good guy, but shy. I heard that "Alvin" liked me and thought I looked good. My friends say that "Alvin" is way better than "Josh". However, I just cant seem to let go of "Josh". "Alvin" is really tempting though, because he is the type that is really really polite. For an example, he offered to give up his seat for me, so that I could sit next to "Josh". For some reason, I keep on thinking about "Alvin", and I get this weird feeling when I'm around him. What should i do?

Dude ok I had the same problem. Except the guy I was going out with was a senior he was a bad boy and did everytihng you are saying Josh does. I fell for his best friend. He was popular, outgoing, sexy and he drove me wild. He liked me and I liked him. My friends said the same exact thing that your friends said about Josh. What I did was that I went out with the outgoing sexy guy. I figured out that he was the better one for me. He was so nice and treated me better than any guy did. I followed my heart. i lost my best friend because of it because she liekd him also but I know that I have to be happy. To this day I am still friends with him because I love him and he is my best friend. I followed my heart. What I think you should do is to follow your heart. Which guy makes you feel good about yourself, makes you feel happy when you are with him. Would never maKE YOU CRY BECAUSE OF SOMETHING STUPID. It was a hard descision for me just like its going to be a hard descision for you to but you just need to follow your heart and choose the guy that is best for you. I did and I wound up finding out the other guy cheated on me and now he has anther girlfriend. I hope you do what is best for you that will make you happy because in the long run all it coems down to is making yourself happy.

I see. Josh might get jealous if your break up with him and go out with Alvin. If you are truly unhappy with Josh, break up. Dont go out with Alvin right away. Give yourself and Josh time to heal. Give Josh some space for a week or two and then nicely talk to him. The sooner you treat him as a friend the better you two will get along as friends and things wont be so akward

If u keep feelings things 4 Alvin then ur probably not as dedicated 2 Josh as u should b. Tell him how u feel about him, and if he's not willing 2 change then dump him. Talk 2 ur counselor or an adult about getting help 4 Josh if u really think he's going 2 hurt himself.

Umm, I think you should take a break from both Josh and Alvin; You need to focuse on your stability and emotions. Give yourself a break. If they both care for you, they will respect your wishes. Take some time off, maybe you'll meet someone else with less strings and might be able to start a new and more refreshing relationship. You won't lose anything. Josh and Alvin will always be your friends. : )

My vote is for "Alvin." Your story paints a really positive image of him - so maybe deep inside you really like him better than "Josh." Your attraction to "Josh" could be because he's a troubled kid and your maternal instincts are in play here (e.g., "you don't want to see him hurt").

I have been in the same puzzle I went for the guy who cares for me the most. Do you know if Alvin cares for you or dose he just like the way you look??? Same with Josh dose he like you for who you are or how you look??? You should ask both!!!

well.....i think that you should go with your heart....first talk to "josh" about what he says and tell him that oyu dont like that because you dont want to think about him like that......if you think that you should be with "alvin" then you should be with "alvin" but if you want to stay with "josh" after you talk to him then your freinds should support you on that decision

that's creepy by way of fact im 14 (yet in ninth grade) and a pair of of my guy acquaintances are named justin and john too! (he spells it jon) and jon sounds precisely like the loo you recognize and does all of those right issues to me too... besides, they maximum in all likelihood do such as you. john although is immature and stressful, in simple terms like the jon i recognize...justin on the different hand feels like a miles better individual and a sweetie :D john is the variety that prob desires to apply you or have a gf just to be common >_> so in case you wind up liking justin then thats sturdy, and if john is being stressful tell him to give up and cut back it out. *EDIT* LOL even anybody else particularly thinks john is immature and attempting to get on your pants too...and theyre precise O_O stay faraway from him!
