everyone keeps referring to me as old. I don't feel older and I am actually enjoying life. Who else is in the same boat as I am in and how do I keep these comments from upsetting me?

Theres No Way Our Generation is as Old as Our Parents were at 30 As we aill be at 50 , it's become a clishae

Ohhh Nanna, don't let a few people bother you hun. I had a hysterectomy when I was 32 and it never made me feel older. I turned 49 today and the day I turned 40 is when I really felt like my life began. Trust me hun, you'll see as time goes by, it really does. The thing for you to tell those that say you're old is :The older the vine, the sweeter the wine.......enjoy your life.

Hi,
Your only as old as you feel and 40 defiantly is not old. I too had hysterectomy at an Early age (To young).
If still have ovaries you will still be going through all the women changes (but blood monthly)
I feel great after mine and that has been 20 years ago.
If just had the hysterectomy you will notice changes for at lest 1 year but after that should be OK.
BUT YOU ARE NOT OLD!! Tell those you call you old to go,"SUCK AN EGG!!!"

just enjoy life !!! i had to get used to it as well. but the problem is : we aren't young anymore, we just don't feel as old as younger people want to make us out to be. bask in the enjoyment of knowing that 1 day they will be in our shoes.

I had one done 5 yrs ago when I was 39. I love it!!! You should just be happy with yourself, and screw anyone who has a rude comment.
