People has different point of view regarding on what is really the meaning of life. The meaning of life to me is to serve God and follow His will. I have faith that solely base on the bible so as a basis I will quote some verses coming from the bible.
Long time ago a wise man said this “Ecclesiastes 1:2 -14 Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.
What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?
One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever.
The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose.
The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; it whirleth about continually, and the wind returneth again according to his circuits.
All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.
All things are full of labour; man cannot utter it: the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing.
The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.
There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.
I the Preacher was king over Israel in Jerusalem.
And I gave my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all things that are done under heaven: this sore travail hath God given to the sons of man to be exercised therewith.
I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit. “
If we will read the entire book of Ecclesiastes we will see that Solomon searching for “what is the purpose” or ”the meaning of life”. He do everything what his heart desire/wants but in the end he got one conclusion for what is the meaning or purpose of life: And he wrote “Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”
And I believe in what Solomon’s believe in.

The meaning of life is death. That is the one true common denominator. As you come into this life, so shall you leave it. There are no guarantees that you will live a long life. There are no guarantees that you will live a good life. There are no guarantees that you will live a prosperous life. The only guarantee is that one day you will die. So, for now, just live. The meaning will come to you soon enough. As will it for the rest of us.

Hm, can't find the quote I was looking for so I'll wing it ...apologies to the original author.

The purpose of life is not to leave a good looking corpse. Instead you should slide into that coffin screeching sideways with a cigarette in one hand and a martini in the other saying "Good Lord! What a ride!"

In short: The purpose of life is to live it. There aren't any proof-positives that theres anything after this life, so enjoy it while you can.

There is no specific meaning of life, and no specific answer to that question. But in my opinion, the meaning of life is how you life your life. What you think, what you do, all of that effects your outlook on life. So, basically, live your life to the fullest, and be the best you can.

Sorry for sounding like Gandhi. I hope this helps you in anyway.

The meaning of life...To me, it's to live, taking the good with the bad, the highs with the lows, the work with the play, to just be me in every way I can.

That is a rhetorical question; it has no answer.

For me, it is to be an individual, stand my own ground, achieve the impossible, and be a BOLD and moral individual.

The meaning of life is whatever you want it to be. I have defined this for my life. Now it is your turn.

I keep answering this perennial question by quoting Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr. (who died in the 1930s).

Holmes said: "Life is an end in itself. The only question about life is whether you have enough of it."

A more substantial quesstion is to ask yourself what you can do with your life. By continuing to ask that question, and to answer it in action, you will move along in finding the kind fo life that satisfies you best.

I think that the only possible meaning to life is to seek the God who created me. Even though I don't know for sure whether that God exists or not.

The ultimate meaning of life is the sure knowledge of death, for without it, man would not strive to leave his mark upon the earth.
