Alright I did it under the arm,he was 37.9.
I was told to be careful if the fever went to 103. My thermometer doesn't switch between F/C.

Now also don't you add a degree if it was taken under the arm? Making his fever 38.9?

Just really really confused.

38* celsius would be 100* farenheight. Hope he feels better soon

You do add a degreee, and I think that's very close to 103. I'd get a new thermometer myself, cause the conversion is too much to worry about. the formula is F 9/5 xC+32

38 degrees to 39 degress doesn't matter, the treatment is the same. Strip him down and open the windows, even if he is shivering and feels cold, his temperature id high. Give him child's paracetamol (calpol) and even ibuprofen and then recheck temp in 30 mins.
If he is very itchy, you can give him some piriton to help. Make sure he drinks plenty. Also keep him away from pregnant women. If your still concerned see a doctor.

get a better thermometer asap pox r no joke that's you baby if unsure call a doctor or the er they could tell you more always go with your mommy instincts their always right good luck and god bless

102 degrees F (38.9 C). And you really add one degree F not C
