To truly get rid of stress you have to get rid of the cause, ask yourself a question, why am I feeling stress and write down the reasons, then work on getting rid of them until they are all gone. Once a day you watch the comedy show on tv and have a laugh and that will make you feel better. Join some organization and make some new friendships and start doing things with them. Go out shopping, go to a restaurant and spoil yourself, take a walk in the park and appreciate the beauty of the place. Go and do something that you have never done before and experience it. Enjoy your Life and be Happy.

Don't take on more tasks than you can handle. Stay well clear of people who want to give you things to do. Don't answer the phone unless you really want to talk. Only practise a sport when you're not tired. Find the time to sleep as much as you need. Seek the company of people who have a sense of humour you can appreciate. Learn to meditate and don't stop relaxing until you're a happy bunny again. Hope you find this useful.

Go shopping...retail therapy can work wonders for stress!
With spring upon us, go buy yourself some new tank tops and shorts : )
If you start crying uncontrollably or feel like you don't want to get out of bed. Have a loss of appetite, or start avoiding your friends...you may need to go to the Dr. for some anti depressants. Don't be ashamed about talking to your Doc about it because it's very common for women to become depressed. Stress can cause depression, and it's also hereditary.
I hope you start to feel better soon : )

Lots of women find evening primrose to be helpful. I would have a chat with your GP before you start any medications - even 'over-the-counter' types from health shops. Your GP may offer other practical advice.

Silverstreak is right - exercise is a brilliant way to lift the spirits.

Without knowing your history or background it is difficult to offer any more advice. Please don't suffer in silence though - see your doctor or chat to a friend.

stress is a difficult one, and differs from person to person. Exercise it said to release the feel good hormones witin the brain, so may be worth a try ------ even dancing to your fav song would help.

If it gets too much, see your doctor
