Hi TJ, these relationships can and do work and i can tell you this with honesty as originally was in one.
I met someone whilst on leave from the army,my home town is Plymouth in Devon.
After a week i returned to the army,we kept in contact via letter and twice a week by phone.
I would get leave once every 7 weeks, sometimes for a week sometimes just a weekend.
This continued for 18mnths when through injury i returned for good, and continued the relationship.
She lived at home with her parents as when we first met she was 15 and i was 18 years old.
About 6mnths later she moved in with me,and soon after was pregnant with our first child.
We met in 1984,and now in 2007 we have 5 children 8,12,18,19 and 20 years old.
I love her with all my heart, and tell her i love her everyday also how sexy she still is.
So all in all yes long distance relationships can work, infact it can be fantastic if its anything like what mine turned out like.
Be honest with eachother, and keep in regular contact and you will be fine. GOOD LUCK.

It can work and if you are going to move then it does have a good chance - sometimes though long distance relationships work because you are not in each others pockets and being together a lot more can put too much pressure on a relationship. Just take it easy and take each day as it comes - good luck and I hope it works out for you both

they'd final...my husband and that i've got been an prolonged distance dating! We meet and that i grew to become into residing in Austin, TX and my husband in long island city! they don't look to be worry-free because of the fact they take a number of power and have faith in one yet another. the terrific suggestion i can provide you is communicate approximately what you quite need, if neither of you're will to pass then it truly cant pass some distance, and do you want to comparable issues in life. We spoke of those issues your not assume to on the beginning up of the dating because of the fact they are artwork and we didn't wish to put in each and all of the ability and not want then comparable issues! Plus my older brother and his spouse have been long distance for 2 years jointly as he grew to become into in the marines and then my older sister and her husband have been additionally long distance for a 300 and sixty 5 days! So if my family contributors does not teach that they'd artwork not something will! purely have relaxing and do not forget that in case you're undemanding with one yet another it may artwork! stable success!

Its like any other relationship - sometimes its distance, sometimes its circumstances, backgrounds, finances...they all have hurdles. You have to work hard to make it work and thats it! Good luck. It will be hard at first when you are finally together all the time - you might feel it isn't as exciting but stick in there and it will be great!

If you really love each other then you just have to try. If it works it works if not then you can always say you tried. If you give up now you'll always wonder if it would have worked or not.
