They don't have to have it done. It is done by choice usually by parents. Some have it done for religious reasons. Currently, it's mostly an American thing.

First of all, boys get circumsised. Anyway...you dont have to, but many parents choose to because some say it is harder to keep an uncircumsised penis clean.

not a requirement.....up to child's parents at birth and the person later in life.
The reason they do it is because it is easier to teach little boys to keep a circumcised penis clean.

They don't have to but it makes it less likely to catch an infection in the foreskin. Its painful and takes longer to recover from as an adult.
