If it's a small/local business ask for the owner or manager. If it's a large corporation, ask the receptionist. There's probably an office somewhere that just deals with philanthropic requests.

In large organizations, there is usually a Community Relations department, or a Corporate Giving Representative. Sometimes, this is a function of the Marketing department.

For local businesses, the General Manager is typically the one to call. In several of the local businesses and large stores in the area, the General Manager is typically the one that has the ability to donate any discretionary funds to various community programs.

Good luck!

Why ask a question with such poor grammar skills? Perhaps to emphasize your lack of knowledge. The solicitation of a donation requires salesmanship and a knowledge of the organization seeking funds. Perhaps if you go back to grammar school you will learn the basics as well as what the word proprietor means.

If you are part of a non-profit organization or are part of a neighborhood group that is raising money for a worthwhile cause, such as Muscular Dystophy, or money for a person with a terminal illness, etc. then you want to speak with the owner of the business, or the manager for more information.
