I know its Latin and I think it stands for very important but whats the whole word/words?

"nota bene" - it means to "note well" and is placed just before whatever the important bit is. Basically it's saying, "heads up" "pay attention now" or sometimes even, "oh, & make sure you read this". HTH (hope that helps)
