Both my sons currently have pink eye.The only treatment is meds.I would call your doctor and ask if he/she can call in a prescription over the phone. My family doctor did and it will save you a trip.
The only other thing you can do it put a warm cloth over your infected eye to ease the itching and pain, but it won't cure the infection.Don't forget to wash hands when in contact with the infected eye.Pink eye is very contagious you don't want to infect the other eye.Good luck.

Most conjunctivitis is viral and medications are not necessary and you would treat with supportive care such as an analgesic (acetaminophen/ibuprofen/aspirin), warm wet cloth, minimal of rubbing of eyes and rest. But if you truly have conjunctivitis it would be prudent not to go to work as you are considered contagious and therefore spread it to your fellow coworkers. By the way, if it is bacterial conjunctivitis (a health care provider should be able to determine this clinically) then the usual course is antibiotic ointment/drops to the affected eye.
Good luck and try not to come in close contact with anyone in the mean time!

Don't go to work tomorrow and go to the doctor. You NEED eye drops and you do not want to get your whole office sick with pink eye.
This is very contagious.

sleep. hold on, why do you have pink eyes? Have you been crying? or is it hayfever? or eye infection/irritation? If it is an infection you have to get a prescription, for hayfever just pick up some tablets or eyedrops, or crying, try splashing your eyes with cold water. Anything else should be helped with sleep!
