Ketchel cleans that wilted flower's clock. 8TH round, good-bye Georges. Seriously, 'the Orchard man" could box but I think Ketchel would be too strong and aggressive. And faster than Dempsey. I can only go with Ketchel.

Carpentier was a very good boxer with reasonable power, and Ketchel would have had to hurt Georges early to have a chance. I can't see Ketchel out boxing Carpentier, and Carpentier was too slick a boxer to get careless. A punchers chance would not have been enough to get Ketchel a victory.
Carpentier by decision.

Georges Carpentier in a close 15 round UD. He's just too big and too skilled. Though of course Ketchel's nonstop punching will give anyone trouble up to the light heavyweight limit.

Bluedevil I'm going to bring two other fighters in this to get to my answer. Sam Langford fought to a draw with Ketchel in 1910. They were supposed to fight in July of that year to settle their draw but Ketchel was shot and killed. Langford beat Joe Jeanette 7 out of 10 times. Jeanette beat Carpentier. I think Ketchel also had more power than Carpentier. Ketchel takes him late in the fight and ends it with a KO in round 10.

CARPENTIER IS A BIGGER , STRONGER FIGHTER . CARPENTIER HAS BEEN KO'ED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. IN THIS BOUT I SEE CARPENTIER IN A CLOSE 15 RD DECISION.
P. S. WHEN U TRY TO DETERMINE WHO WILL WHEN FIGHT (OR DREAM FIGHT) , IT IS STYLES THAT MAKE A BOUT NOT WHO BEAT WHO.
