What is best cure for C diff?

I recently was on antibiotic treatment for a urniary track infection with Nitrafurasntoin. I later developed c diff in the hospital and cannot seem to get rid of it.

For the most part C. diff is treated with metronidazole and flagyl. If the infection become more systemic then the best treatment is IV Vancomyocin.

Flagyl and good hand washing is a must

Oral Flagyl or oral Vancomycin usually work.
