no crash diet works, you need a consisent diet plan with excerise to work and keep weight off, 32 year I have tired crash diets before, short of straving my self even, but I would not only gain weight back I would put extra weight on as well. Thew best thing that worked for me is
Eating three meals a day light,
Dirinking water before every meal at least 3, 8oz glasses
and walking every other half hour as I could,
If snacked I ate my favorite kind of crackers,
when eating meals make your portions small then you usually make them, by at least half, or a little less then half of wht you usually would put on your plate or bowl, keep that up and you will lose the weight I lost 100 lbs in two months on this diet alone,
Its not what you eat its how much of what you eat.

They work but wow, will you put the wieght back on and amazingly fast too. I don't like them for the long term..because they seem to mess up your bodies natural ability to keep you at an even weight

crash diets to not work at reducing body fat. they only result in the loss of water weight and some muscle. it is very common to have a higher level of body fat after a crash diet than before. you can not starve the body into burning fat our biology does not function in that manner

Not if you want to keep it off. It'll come right on back if you don't adjust your lifestyle. Plus, crashing isn't too healthy on the body. The additional stress it puts on your body can leave it malnourished and you're more susceptible to sickness. Headaches, fatigue, nausea, and the works will come in if you do it too hard.

yes but they could end up making you ill. if you want to loose weight do so slowly making sure you have a good healthy diet.
