Would be one of Robinson's hardest opponents at middleweight. Robinson surpasses Ketchel in quickness and agility avoiding Ketchel's power and rough tactics and takes the decision.

Ketchel was a slugger with good movement and delusions of greatness. Sugar Ray Robinson had no delusions, he was great. Still Ketchel would have given Ray the trouble bigger fighter gave Robinson and made it a very difficult fight for Ray. I don't think Ketchel was as good as Maxim, and Ray fought late in his career at the heavier weight class anyway, the comparison would not be accurate between Ketchel and Maxim. Ray was too much for the likes of Ketchel.

Robinson by decision.
