You could go with a golden yellow to match the stripes...or go with a chocolatey brown color--that would be nice.... or even a nice forest green color....

If room size isn't an issue I think a golden color to match the stripe would make the couch stand out nicely. Or if you want it to blend in more use the chocolate brown or a darker color.
If the room is smallish or if the couch is really large I would suggest the darker colors to cut back on contrast between the couch and the walls. It is not dark colors that make a room seem small but contrast. So the more the couch blends into the wall, the less space it will appear to take.

Ok, before you go painting your walls gold, look at your lighting, if you have incandecent lighting your walls will look even more yellow than you lant them. I love yellow, but just keep that in mind. I would maybe think about accenting one of the colors on one wall, and then maybe something neutral on the others. Making a bold statment with an accent wall will make your room look bigger, and accent your couch. Hope this helps.

A light yellow with a touch of gold. A nice treatment is to mix a little translucent gold metallic into the paint ( a hardware store can show you how) for a shimmery effect on the walls.

Most good interior decorators will suggest that you use one colour, in various shades, for a room , with one or two accent colours. Since you already have two strong colours, I'd suggest a lighter shade of gold for the walls, with one or two accents in burgundy, and gold coloured lighting fixtures, handles on cupboards and accessories, with perhaps one or two central pieces in either amber or bronze? If you want to depart from the accents, then go for deep green or pale blue!!
Good luck and have fun with your colours!

burgundy is bold and rich color so I would suggest neutral wall color like - beige,or any light shade,to light the room up a bit, darker walls with burgundy couch would make it darker.

I would suggest sky blue pink with yellow stripped polka dots. But then again, I'm only a guy.
