Are your saying you want your cat to use your bathtub instead of a litterbox? That seems a bit odd. You would have to be cleaning it out all the time ... and it would smell!
This is from someone who just spent 5 months trying to literally toilet train two kittens (just under a year old). I had a traing seat that went over the toilet bowl. I put flushable litter in it so when I started cutting out rings in center any litter that went down the toilet wouldn't cause plumbing problems. Training was going well (I just had to flush after them) until I took them with me to my parents over Christmas. They have one cat who has some bad washroom habits (but he is still totaly adorable) and my efforts to keep my two girls away from his accidents were sabotaged (sp?) by others who wouldn't keep doors closed. So in the end my girls got the wrong idea and started pooping on the floor, although they still pee'd in the toilet. Just last week I gave up and got a new litter box for them. They went back to using a box in a flash and really seem to enjoy being able to dig again. Thank goodness I got a box that they climb into from the top or I'd have litter everywhere! I'm still using the flushable litter so I don't have to carry it out all the time, just scoop and flush.
Hope you find this useful... if not amusing.. many people thought I was nuts trying to toilet train them. It didn't work in the end, but I think it would have if I hadn't moved them at Christmas.

I tried putting water in the tub. Worked for the tub, but didnt help the cat. She just went somewhere else also not the litter box. I got rid of the cat eventually.

Close the bathroom door.
Put his litter box in the shower.
My cat does this too when he gets into my bathroom. Really I just shrug and chide myself for leaving the door open. Then I wash it out with some hot water and lysol and count my blessings. It's not like he's using my laundry, curtains, pillow, bedding, or shoes.

Are u serious ??? You want ur cat to urinate and poop in ur bathtub !!! Or do u mean u want it to STOP using ur tub, in that case, simple, get a litterbox, some cat litter and keep the bathroom door closed.

You should not do that that is why they have litter boxes made for cats not tubs.

Put a pit bull in there, or rat traps. Better yet, get rid of the cat.

EEEWWWW!! Wouldn't it make more sense to get a litter box? BTW, you cannot wash cat litter down the drain; it will clog your pipes!!
