I used to flirt with my insurance agent guy at his work. Anyway, I asked him out and got all chicken about it - so I didn't follow through. The last time I went to his office, he and his coworker exchange glances and he smiled to himself. He also appeared too busy to assist me, so I had to deal with his coworker.

Why does he do this?

Perhaps your insurance agent felt that you had stood him up. He may have told his co-worker that you had asked him out and was thrilled about it and when you cancelled the date ... he felt a bit rejected. He may now want to show his co-worker that he is now not interested in you because he felt a bit foolish being rejected.

I don't think it matters too much ... since you're not really interested in him. As for your insurance matters ... the co-worker can probably take care of those needs for you quite nicely.

Don't make an issue of this with the original agent ... that's my advice ... he may end of turning the tables on you and making you feel foolish. I suggest you simply let the situation go and chalk it up to experience!

He doesn't like you. Not to be an A** but it's the truth. Find someone else. It's not worth bothering over.

maybe because he's too shy. Men get very shy and stuff when you show/tell them you like them. They feel they have to step their game up to keep you interested...
