It takes time....they will ask about you ...they will be interested in the things you talk about....its not really any different than, say meeting someone in a pub, but we warned, not everyone is honest and some have alternative motives. That said, not everyone on the internet is a pervert though and there are some genuine individuals who are either lonely and want someone to share their interests with who simply enjoy chatting. As they say, "buyer beware" but don't let it put you off shopping!

The subtleties of conversation are lost in online chatting and it is very hard to tell a person's true feeling. However if they make the effort to chat especially with you for long periods of time that's a good clue that they like you.

you just don't! be very very careful about giving any details of your personal life to an on-line chatter. Had a slightly scary experience myself having given a good description of what i would be wearing to a particular event; and I mentioned the event too, to a guy i was chatting with on line. He turned up - he was only living six miles away. thankfully, he was ok, normal, just thought he would try and find me. and no, I didn't stay in touch with him.

actually there is a way to tell if someone likes u online.First they might start off asking u if ur single and u say yes or no,sometimes when u say yes they will say like cool me too or something like that,and they will probaly ask what u look like and most of the time they would say oh u sound cute or something like that,and if they contiue wanting to chat with u ,it kinda gives u the hint that either him or her like u.

Well, your not really sure if your talking to a man or woman without a webcam. I wouldn't hold my breath over it. Life goes on, and as long as you enjoy their company and dont move to the other side of the world, your doing great.
