The Chihuahua is the smallest breed in the world.( No such thing as teacup) They should not weigh more then six pounds at maturity but can be as small as two pounds.

The smallest dog living, in terms of height, is a long-haired chihuahua called Danka Kordak Slovakia, who measured 13.8 cm (5.4 in) tall and 18.8 cm (7.4 in) long on May 30, 2004 and is owned by Ing. Igor Kvetko of Revúca, Slovakia.
The smallest dog in terms of length is Heaven Sent Brandy, a female chihuahua who measured 15.2 cm (6 in) from the nose to the tip of the tail on January 31, 2005. Brandy lives with her owner, Paulette Keller in Largo, Florida, USA.

well, there was once a Yorkshire terrier that's name was Pinocchio and they said that he was the smallest dog, but he wasn't bred to be small, he just turned out that way. There are other small dogs though, like the chihuahua. But i would say its a close call between the chihuahua and the Yorkshire terrier.

Teacup Chihuahua , there are about 3 pounds.
Of course that is not a creation from Nature, it is a Man made one.
The smallest Dog is a Chihuahua, there are between
5 and 7 Pounds

I think that the smallest dog would be a teacup terrier.

Chihuahua's and Yorkshire Terriers are the 2 tiniest breeds. Usually, they are only about 3 lbs (in comparison with teacup chihuahua's)
