At this time I would like to have my parents come up on stage next to me( wait till they get there)
(look at your parents) say---
Mom and Dad ,even with the wonderful education I recieved here at ______ high school they never taught me what you did at home( give them a group hug and kiss)as you are telling them out loud that you love them(send them back to their seats) this should fix'em for the night and I'm sure you'll get more comments later!!!!

Thank them for coming then speak from the heart. Maybe use an example of what your parent's support meant to you and thank them for that. Keep it short and sweet.
