All depends on the ages of the lovers.

A gal 14 should stay away from a boy 21. However, a gal 25 could manage a guy 32.

The older the couple, the lesser the impact on the arrangement.

A gal 65 could easily marry and get along with a guy 72.

Let it be said, that the lady doesn't have to be older in every case. Women are marring younger men all the time. We call these women Cougars.

The broader look is, once you are an adult all age barriers vanish, especially just seven years difference. I don't think it is the same rational for an age difference of 20-30 or more years.

As the age difference widens, you have health and sex factors to consider.

As the saying goes, when an old man marries a young girl, he just bought a book for someone else to read. She got herself a meal ticket.

Age is just a number. I've heard of 15 year age gap relationships that worked, so why can't a 7 year age gap work? Basically forget the age, it's all about the person.

Depends on how old you are. A 7 year gap when you're 18 and 25 is bigger and more significant than a 7 year gap when you're 37 and 45. I don't think 7 is too big of a gap though, even if you're young. I'm 34, my partner is 48, that's a 14 year gap, and it's working fine between us.

Thats' completely acceptable. My ex-husband and I had a 13-year age gap. Yah, we're divorced now but it had nothing to do with the age difference. My parents have been happily married for 40 years and they are 9 years apart. Also, my aunt and uncle have been together over 30 years and they are 12 years apart. As long as we're talking legal ages, the numbers really don't matter if you love each other.

It can work. Just understand there is a gap. And you two will not see everything eye to eye. (Well that's all relationships) And it is usually the older of the two to notice the problems before the younger. But age is only a number. And I hope they are legal age. If not, then I resubmit my answer to NO!!!!.

If either of you is under 20 it's probably not going to work well right now. It isn't so much the age difference as where you are both in your lives. If one is just in college while the other is moving on in a career there won't be a flow and connection. Also you won't have as much to talk about.

My late mother and father in-law had a 14 year age gap. They were married for 53 years until they passed away. Make your own mind up, but I see no problem.

At 14 and 21 it is a world apart! At 40 and 47, it is no big deal. More important than chronological age is the life experience level.
