I can not seem to keep the hair under control. The cats do have a good diet (Science Diet) Please does anyone have any suggetions on what to use for the cats?

My wife and I have 4 cats and lots of hair everywhere.
Our cats like to be groomed and like a device called a Sheddin blade. It is a blade that you can get at the pet store dog grooming section. Is works much better than a comb or brush.
We also have "kitty sheets" on the furniture and use Science Diet Hairball Control cat food.
Too get cat hair off the furniture: use an old rubber glove. Works really well.

there are things you can get that help to remove stray/loose hairs from pet stores. they are called cat hair magnets, due to the amount of cats, you may want to purchase a couple it they work. The cats brush against them and it removes stray hair. Also if you are watching TV or reading ro studying, you can brush you cats. That also helps to cut down on the stray hairs you find.
If you buy the cat hair magnet from petsmart, you can return it within 30 days if it is not effective, or your cats dont like it. I have returned toys and stuff, even if i have opened it.
They also have cat comb corners, that you can put on the corners of your wall.

A brush. Sounds simple enough. I use a curved one with fine wire tines. It has a button on the back that retracts the teeth so the hair can be scooped off. Great little unit and the catz love it...except for Munch. She would rather eat it.
