HI
I stopped by not over eating with the bulima when I was too full I felt the need to do the laxative thing, just eat light and you'll feel better, try 6 small meals a day.

Despite the need to look thin, the diseases you are mentioning usually are a result of feeling "lack of control" in your life. You may feel you are in control when YOU decide to eat or when YOU decide to induce vomiting. I know I'm making it sound simple but I know how you feel.
This is not much different than having Panic, Anxiety Disorders, Depression or even OCD Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Anti-depressants such as Zoloft, ETC. may help. It is a known medical fact that people who suffer from one of the above disorders ALSO suffer from another or more of the above disorders. I hope this gives you some enlightenment.
I would ask your treatment specialist about this. You can also seek help on "hot-lines" to remain anonymous.
Good luck! (from someone who has struggled with Panic disorder and Bulimia and depression for years) I do consider myself normal and you too!!!!!

I"m the same thing as you. I'm working on recovery too. It's been a long road, 4 years. I hope for you it hasn't been that long. One of the things that really helped me was talking to others suffering with the same thing. NOT pro but just about our struggles and stuff, and just talking to someone who understands. I like to go on to the website something-fishy.org. They have a lot of support there on teh forums. AND you can email me any time as well if you want, wishing2beinspace@yahoo.com. I'm always here to listen. Just TRY and eat healthy, you don't have to eat a lot of junk or anything, just start out eating a lot of fruits and veggies. That's what i'm doing right now, and it's really helping me already, next i go on to more things, like breads and stuff, and working my way back up to having sweets, since those are the things i fear most. Wishing you much luck!!

now you have to reverse all your will power you used for refusing food to get healthy. and that's hard, let me tell you..
you must want to recover, noone else can make you. it's all you.
you could try to earase all the pro-ana sites and food-related weblogs you had. they are waay too triggering.
also seek for a medical advice. they should know better.
even if you recover, don't go heavy on food. make it to 'normal' and stay there. and most important - stick to a healthy diet no matter what and keep excercising. and you'll never have to think of weight loss again.
HEALTH is the key.

you can start by eating and getting on a regular eating routine, your body is like your car if you deprive it of fuel things don't work so well. one of the things that is affected by poor nutrition is your brain which effects your attitude, you have to realize that by starving yourself you are keeping the body from healing itself. And it also effects your feelings and emotions, If it's going to get better you have to do your part. Good luck and I wish you well.

okay, so your situation is you don't eat much, but when you do, you throw it up? complicated. really all i can tell you is to ( slowly) work on eating food( and keeping it in your stomach) and just take it day by day, and reward yourself, for every week you don't dkip a meal or make yourself throw up. also, try to do things that make you feel better about yourself. i hope you get better soon
