I speak English, Spanish, beginner French and am planning to learn Russian. Whenever I make friends that speak a language other than English I always get them to teach me a few words or phases.
I think this world would be a better place if we made more of an effort to understand one another!

the place's the realm of expertise in one language?! How can we as people learn from different individuals the cultures and charcteristics from others? If all of us in simple terms spoke english that must be boring. i'm happy that the international is crammed with many languages to benefit from. Asia has over seven hundred languages to talk of.
