many of those protestors are paid to be there. the money is drying up. they re paid to go place to place.

why would you people want to protest the war in iraq or any other war. You all need to work on your short term memory.

Where have you been living? The Republican National Convention? Over 80% of this country protests the war in Iraq. What gets me are these news journalists that say they speak with military troops that say they think they should be over in Iraq. Trust me, 9 out of 10 Army Soldiers say they feel it is a waste of time being over in Iraq. And they're right.

People did not protest wars until the Media recieved as much power as they did. The Media has successfully shown the American Public what war is: blood, gore, and unfair. The American people are just tired of it now. Like people are getting bored with Nicole Smith and her death.

Because the general publics attention span sucks. So the news takes advantage of that and only shows Angelina's newest adopted baby and telling people that California is killing puppy dogs. People are learning, no matter how long they protest, no one is going to listen to them and the news dosnt want to show that.

Wow, so we shouldn't care until we lose as many as Viet Nam? Great. But that's misleading anyway because more soldiers survive wounds these days, they just come home seriously injured and permanently disfigured and disabled instead of dying.

Because as much as leftists would like to compare it to Vietnam it is not nearly as bad. We lost 20 times as many troops in vietnam.
