I would personally wait on him. You don't have to drop any hints, but if he's interested he'll approach you. However, if it takes longer- like it does with most guys- approach him as a friend with a friend if possible and see if you like his personality( look through those good looks); if you don't just move on. That way there are no broken hearts if you get attached.
That's also a plus, i would think, with his parents if you present yourslef in a respectable way.

You have to talk to him some how! A relationship can't bloom if there is no contact. At the very least and I mean very very least write him a note.

just talk to him! It wont hurt you unless he bites, which is highly unlikely. I know it seems hard, but just try being his friend first and talking to him as if you never liked him. Then, you can take it further. good luck and talk to him!!

thats tough if he is religious. Just talk to him and give him your number, then let him come on to you. but keep talking to him. if his dad isn't around or no one is, then flirt with him
