Hard cooked eggs may be stored in the fridge, either with the shell on or shelled and covered (in the carton), for as long as one week. They make a great breakfast on the run.

In the world of professional cooking and commercial resturants the rule is thee days. Anything over than that is points off of your health inspection. Freezer storage is one month. So how long can your keep a hard boiled egg in the fridge for? 3 days.
OH yeah, "When in doubt, throw it out."

Why would you want to KEEP hard boiled eggs they go dark around the yolk. It only takes 10 minutes to hard boil an egg, put it under cold water and shell it. Much safer and the yolk will be nice and yellow not grey....YUK!!!
If you have hard boilded eggs in the fridge throw them out, it's not worth the hassle!

In the shell (not cracked) I would only keep it for a couple of days. I forgot one once, for a week...nasty!

For about a week, it's the basic leftover rule. If it has been in there for more then a week, toss it.
