Does that make the muscles not to develop?

Don't forget that swimming is also exercise. Just make sure you're not over-training.

Swimming after a brief (30-40 min) HEAVY weight workout is very good for muscle developement and fatloss. Do a three day whole body split and swim for @ a half hour afterward. Do that for three monthes and youll be amazed. For each body part stick to basic compound moves which utilize more than one muscle in the range of motion. Stick to 2 exercises per bodypart and pair big muscle groups with small muscle groups. Always train legs on a day like friday where youll have a two day rest before you are back in the gym - Pair legs with abs, back with arms, and shoulders with chest. Good Luck

Not if you have some energy left to swim. If you had a rigorous
training session you might want to hold off on the swim as your muscles could be already quite fatigued. Better to add swimming into your routine maybe a light fitness training topped off with a swim.

if you are going to a gym and doing a workout then going swimming after you are fit.swimming refreshes you after a workout but like you do a warmup routine before you go on machines streaching etc swimming should be gentle after a workout it will still promote muscle development but do not over do it.hope this helps

There is no problem with swimming after fitness. Just don't overdo it.

actually it helps them develop with a more toned and balanced look. I know a lot of swimmers and they are in peak condition.

swimming is type of sport that is benficial espsially for fittness in addition to other gym it builds all musles of the body besids its enjoing espcially with other
